Please install QuickTime 7 prior to installing MovieCaptioner! You can download it from the Apple website at http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime.
QuickTime X (the default version of QT on Mac OS 10.5 and newer) will not work with MovieCaptioner. You can either install QT 7 from your computer's OS installer disk or download it from the link above.
